The MedFlex system is designed to help users manage every aspect of the O & P business. New users often begin using the basic features of the system first, then implement the more complex features as they continue to use MedFlex. The purpose of this feature tour is to show new users the many features of MedFlex, and to remind current users of the features they may have yet to utilize.
What makes MedFlex different from other systems? A few unique features about MedFlex are the scheduling, secondary billing, electronic billing, multi-location capability, and the ability to run reports for any given time. In addition, MedFlex has the ability to define different levels of security for all users.
MedFlex is a dynamic, always improving system. New for 2006 are:
Palm Phone live interactive access to Scheduler/Patients/Docs
Patient "Day Before" telephone call reminders using the Televox service in English or Spanish with smart exclusions
Document Management System - MedFlex expands its note and scanning to include storage/retrieval of any type of electronic document.
Inventory - Catalog load from Cascade and Pel
Inventory/Purchasing with full bar-code support and full GUI implementation
Purchasing - shopping cart integration with Cascade and Pel
The following screens are available upon login: Scheduling, Patient Information, Everything Else (which includes Billing/Collection, WIP, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Utilities), EOB Scanning, Inventory, Purchasing, Passwords/Security, Cut-Off Date Maintenance, and Everything Else.
